The UNF women’s basketball team lost their final home game of the season 56-24 against the Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles on Feb. 25. The Ospreys (11-17, 2-11) only managed to put up a total of 24 points against the Eagles (26-2, 13-0), who are currently ranked No. 21 in the nation.
The UNF seniors, Destinee Smith, Brittney Wright and Paulina Zaveckaite are wrapping up their final season with the Ospreys.
The Ospreys will play their next game on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 1:00 p.m. against the Stetson University Hatters in DeLand, Fla.
